The beaches between JFK and 43rd Street have now been closed for 14 days with no firm date when they will open. The original project completion date of late June has now been pushed to mid-July. What a mess. Council, how about you shut it all down from July 2-5 and open all beaches so we can enjoy our 250th birthday without this continued inconvenience.
