I love Skimmer Weekend but frankly this year I am not real focused on replacing my socks or mops! Instead I am focused on seeking new leadership for our town. Yes, our long time mayor has many achievements but I think it is time to throw him a big retirement party in his big box store vanity project aka the Community Center. There is just too much favoritism, nepotism and poor decision making of late. A newer council member shows promise but if not him, I am sure just having new leadership would bring more impartiality and much needed change to our lovely city.
