No good deed goes unpunished. I pity anyone who actually needs emergency services around here. I dialed 911 today because I saw a lost dog wandering on the highway near ShopRite and wanted to get him help. I immediately stated I knew it wasn't a true emergency. The man on the other end was SO RUDE to me! He snapped at me several times, and I had to repeat at least three things I had already told him. I know the line is for emergencies, but not being from the area, I didn't know who to contact, and I wanted the dog to get help quickly! Shame on him for being so rude and arrogant!
