Regarding the comments about the County Employees’ contract: How can anyone vote on a contract when the County has not finished negotiating the terms with the union? A vote cannot take place until there is a complete tentative agreement to present to the membership. Maybe it’s time to attend a union meeting & get the facts firsthand instead of relying on rumors & for those questioning raises, do you really think the Executive Board doesn’t want raises too? The Board members are County employees just like everyone else and are working under the same contract.
