Surprised to see they are tearing up Bayview Drive for repaving this time of year. This is prime turtle egg laying season and that area is a well known spot for the turtles. Many of the turtles cross that road in search for suitable spots to lay eggs. A disappointing disregard for a well known, annual happening. Not like those responsible could miss the Turtle Crossing signs.
