You keep talking about fair treatment, but how is it fair to hire someone above others without experience while longtime employees are left behind? If you're truly for Civil Service, explain how a recent hire with no government experience was brought in at a higher title and salary instead of an entry-level position. Meanwhile, four clerks who have been here for years are fighting for retroactive pay while earning less than a newcomer. That doesn't look like fairness or equal treatment it looks like favoritism
