Avalon Police Chief: Last August you publicly swore to try and address the 5 pm to 8 pm use of the 8th Street fields as a dog playground during high season. It is not right to have large, unleashed dogs bounding at will. And on the same subject, how about getting the dogs off the beach during the same period? A wee bit of effort may prove effective.
