I heard talk and I hope it’s just talk, that New Jersey, like New York was looking at a “Taylor Swift tax” a levy on luxury second homes. A tax assessed on homes over one million and unoccupied for more than half the year. What could New Jersey politicians possibly be thinking? First they raise the height of the flood zone for most beach homes, now this? This won’t help with housing availability, especially with homes at these prices.
