The person with the signs isn't a long-time resident of Cape May Area. Many of us were born and raised in this area and when someone from out-of-town decides to move here and create chaos, yes chaos, in an otherwise sane community, your presence here is not welcome. Check with a local realtor. You can get good money for you home and then return to where you came from. New York? Central or Northern New Jersey? West Chester, Pa.? The Main Line, Pa.? Those areas would describe your vibe. We don't want or need it here.
