Beach towns justify parking meters near the beach to help subsidize the cost of maintaining the beach costs like daily cleaning, lifeguards and showers. Lower Township provides none of those to the privately owned beaches in Diamond Beach and has no justification for meters in Diamond Beach other than squeezing more from the Golden Goose.
