The job of Public Information Officer (PIO) for the County is full time. When it was announced that the former County Commissioner was stepping down to take on the role of PIO for the County it was quoted here in The Herald that she was LEAVING her job at ARC but that has not happened! She is on the ARC Facebook page promoting their fundraiser and may STILL being paid by them at full salary. This is a disgrace! What happened to the Public Information Officer that has been with the County for 50 years???
