I love how all the mayoral candidates believe a high end resort hotel is the only option for the Wonderland site. I guess we’re getting a new luxury hotel if we want it or not. I can’t believe there aren’t any other options but I guess money talks in Ocean City just like all the other shore towns. At least they are all against allowing liquor in town for now, until the hotel wants an exception. Maybe they’ll apply for a club alcohol license exception like the situation brewing in Avalon.
