The Lower Township Board of Education unanimously approved a $33.35 million budget on Monday that will include layoffs to full-time and part-time staff members. The district will see contractual raises of 3.3%, while health insurance – a big issue in multiple local budgets this year – will increase by more than 14%. Prescription coverage will go up more than 14%. Even with staff reductions, benefits costs are up by more than $800,000 . Thank You Maga's
