Art Hall tries to explain why Trump and his minions blundered into Iran. But, he misses a number of important points. First, we had an agreement with Iran, which Trump ripped up. Second, how do we ensure that Iran doesn't acquire a nuclear weapon? Do we occupy the whole country? There is no appetite for that here. Third, the time to explain all this to the American public was before we went in. Finally, I find it strange that Mr. Hall can't just write Trump, Hegseth and Rubio rather than refer to nameless "leaders."
