To the N. Wildwood spouter w/ "the coolest dog" unsure why a porch-sitter scowls at you. Everyone thinks their dog is the "coolest." Pets are part of a family and certainly you love your dog, and have every right to. But not everyone likes dogs. Some have even had very bad experiences whether that entails them doing their business on their lawn or being jumped on, allergies or even attacked. You have the right to love your dog and others have the right not to do so. Give non-dog people some space and respect. This person's sour facial expression doesn't harm you in the least.
