Ever heard the saying “ignorance is bliss”? So true when you hold a position in county government and you watch high paid employees come into work for 2hrs then leave for the day without taking leave, because the county policy is those in certain positions don’t have to clock in or out from work. Anywhere else this would be considered theft. They know what they are doing because it’s an unwritten policy, no records are kept and you can’t OPRA their payroll records. Just watch the Sheriff’s office, Election Board, County Admin, etc where it runs rampant.
