The Lower Township Council have awakened a sleeping giant by voting to install paid parking in Diamond Beach. I don't recall hearing about parking problems before this move. What problems does this solve? Council has not been honest or forthright. Public Notice may have been technically met, but you could have done better for those being affected. And you know it. If we lose the Diamond Beach tax base via secession to Wildwood Crest we LT tax payers will feel the pain. Just having those ugly Park Mobile signs lining the streets in front of your house is enough to protest this move.
