Agreed. As an independent I have no party loyalty but I have eyes. In my experience, the current mayor and managers have made it clear resident input is an inconvenience not a priority. No negotiation, no back and forth, just my way or the highway. An authoritarian attitude has no place in a council or township manager role. These are elected and appointed positions funded by taxpayers who deserve to be heard. More candidates, more accountability, more options on that ballot.
