Obviously it cannot hurt to increase funding to our schools. What good it will do perhaps is what we all want to know. Throwing money at the problem that is so very apparent to anyone who has had a conversation (use that word loosely) with our teenagers is not going to help advance their learning ability. It starts at home and should continue in the classroom with a curriculum that is based on the learning ability of the students.
