The Lower Township comment blaming short-term rentals as the reason school enrollments are down. Long term rentals are the reason we now have an abundance of short-term rentals. The track record for long term rentals is poor at best. The tenants do not take care of the properties and evictions are a common denominator as well. Drive through the Township and it is easy to identify these properties. Sad looking at best. Short term rentals are attractive properties and assets to the community. Find another excuse for your comment.
