Maybe if there was affordable housing , then school enrollment wouldn’t be declining. Maybe if our local government started acting with some foresight they would put a limit on short term housing to enhance the quality of the community . There needs to be a limit on short term rentals in our residential communities. The key word being “ community” before nothing is left . This is not a novel idea. Look to other flourishing tourist destinations- they are all implementing plans to retain an actual community rather than a seasonal disposable landscape.
