Quite frankly, it is cheaper than concrete but the lawsuits that will come from this mindless decision (burnt feet) will be endless. One reply stated to wear sandals going to and from the beach. Yeah, tell that to excited kids as they run to and from the beach! Another issue, the heat from the sun beating on the asphalt will make sitting on the benches torture!
