Requesting a status update on the Straights of West Wildwood as we head into summer. Are the channels clear for safe fuel passage to crab boats, tiki boats, and any vessel brave enough to navigate that “strategic maritime chokepoint” near the trestle? If the Straights become blocked or restricted, it could create serious operational issues for the crab boats, wave runners, and the ever-expanding tiki boat fleet—potentially triggering a full-scale back bay shutdown. Will the City of Wildwood be offering any help or are we on our own again?
