The reasons for, and possible outcomes of, our attack on Iran are too multi-faceted for one spout. However I would like to remind readers that Israel and Saudi Arabia were about to normalize relations and begin joint economic projects. The region was headed toward cooperation and prosperity. To thwart this, Shite Iran unleashed Hamas on 10/7. Many Israelis and Gazans died as a result. Iran got what it wanted: destabilization and the deaths of both Jews and Sunnis. Will there ever be peace in the Middle East? Certainly not with the Islamic Republic intact.
