I read the on line editorial about the direction for Cape May County’s Community College and the selection of a new president. The discussion should include our vocational technical and local high school advocates as well. As I talk to recent high school graduates they seem to lean toward training for a trade. The vo-tech facility has done a great job expanding their curriculum to satisfy this need. As college campuses close in neighboring states the four year schools have expanded their academic offerings. Our focus should center on community and student needs. Not local campus expansion.
