It is at the same time amusing and sad the amount of opinions on this site (arm chair or keyboard warriors) trying to explain to the rest of the population their keen sense of what our country should and shouldn't do, might I suggest you go spend even a short time (a month or two) in any of these countries you like to preach about/for, just remember to notify your family and the US State Department of your intentions .
