If the President has a case to make for the war in Iran, then he should go to Congress and make it in as per the Constitution and the War Powers Act. And sell it to the public. Attacking the press is just a sign of weakness. The First Amendment protects the press that reports legitimate criticism and the politicians and public who express it. The First Amendment has been around for a lot longer than Trump and MAGA. This administration that cannot handle dissent. Dissent and disagreement are essential to the American tradition, as written in the First Amendment.
