I’m a Republican. I served in the AF in the late 70 s. There were many lessons taught regarding Vietnam, especially fighting an enemy that is committed. Technology can take out targets, but a unified enemy will reorganize and fight invaders. Invaders that are disadvantaged by distance and opposition at home. This was not 9-11. This is an unpopular fight. We are in trouble again.
