Stone Harbor residents deserve better than politics dressed up as official communication. The mayor is using both Facebook and instagram accounts page titled with the office of mayor to endorse candidates in the upcoming primary—and the post includes the Stone Harbor borough logo. That logo belongs to taxpayers, not a campaign. Whatever your politics, borough symbols shouldn’t be used to influence a partisan primary. If officials want to endorse candidates, do it on a personal or campaign page—without the borough seal.
