The joke's on us, Desiderio is not making any decisions, good or bad. He has high-paid, unelected people, who are not answerable to the voters, directing him and the other commissioners. They're rubber-stamping what their handlers tell them. Glad to see competition with Democrats running this year. The checks and balance system works; we need our commissioners to focus on all the citizens, not just those who donate to the party. Without bipartisan representation, the rich will get richer, and the poor will get poorer. Good luck to the candidates. We deserve better.
