Our legislature has admitted our state will be seven BILLION in debt in two years. Cuts are being discussed. School consolidation, pension reductions to current and retired members, and possibly eliminate the stay n.j. program. Maybe eliminate property tax freezes for seniors? My thought is programs should not be cut that workers paid into over forty years. Maybe it's time to cut welfare, food stamps, section eight and utility assistance customers pay for on our electric and natural gas bills. I ask, where should the state start cutting the budget? It is going to happen very quickly.
