Last night at the State of the Union speech, Democrats refused to respond to the president’s too obvious set-up regarding defending American citizens over illegal immigrants. The US Constitution is not a suggestion. It is the absolute law of the land. The Constitution says that it applies to everyone in the country. It does not say only Americans. Nor does it say that it applies to Americans more than others. “All men are created equal” is what it says.
