I, sadly, drove past the Trenton house where my Depression era parents had finally managed to purchase their first ever house (1944) and worked nearly 50 years to keep it nice. The entire area is now disgusting as tenants and owners are too lazy to paint or even remove trash. Same dynamic is evident in all NJ cities: Camden, Atlantic City etc. and many wonder why most sensible residents don't care 1 iota about affordable housing. Meantime local township(s) officials burden taxpayers with expanded water /sewerage expenses.
