Cape May

Comments lately have been on Affordable Housing and White Flight. Trus story. We grew up in West Philadelphia. 6000 block of Lansdown Ave. It was a beautiful neighborhood. We walked to school and went to St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, took the #10 trolly to center city, enjoyed Urie's Fish Fry, Hanscombs Bakery, Woolworths 5&10, Kellers Record Shop and Larry's Steaks. During the summer, we slept with our doors and windows open. It was safe. Today, there are security bars on the windows and doors, and it is unsafe. Yes, we fled the area. Bottom line, keep affordable housing OUT of Cape May
