They want us to hate each other. They want us to think of each other as not worthy of respect, as sub-human. They want us to forget that your neighbor would be there for you. We feed neighbors in need. We wave. We run out to grab the trash cans blowing down the street. Your neighbors have worries just like you; jobs, grocery bills, kids in school. For generations we all respected each other, even when we disagreed. They want us to forget that. Don’t. Don’t let someone you have never met tell you to hate the people that you already know.
