I will respond to the Del Haven spouter who said that wind power is efficient. Its not, and here is why: It requires huge taxpayer subsidies. If you (which I'm sure the spouter did) just take the fact that free wind turns a turbine to make electricity then it appears "efficient." But the subsidies make it inefficient- not in generation, but as an investment. Google: "It is not currently cost-competitive without subsidies due to extreme upfront capital expenditures, complex logistics, and high operational risks."
