I’m honestly shocked how often last year’s incident keeps being brought up in defense of Jonathan Ross. Whatever happened then is irrelevant to the question at hand. If an officer was too distraught to perform duties safely, why were they kept on active duty? This isn’t about sympathy, it’s about standards, accountability, and public safety. Personal hardship doesn’t override fitness for the job, especially in law enforcement.
