I’m a Republican and I applaud Governor Mickey with consolidation of schools. Shame on Murphy. 500 school districts in 21 NJ Counties is unaffordable. School taxes higher than property taxes and kids are not the smartest bears in the room. Consolidate schools and teach! Tremendous savings in every department! Huge savings here in Lower Township if they merged 3 grade schools. Make the vacant schools into senior recreational and learning centers for all. Don’t make it Votes count versus redundant jobs because it’s not working.
