We are in the midst of turmoil and great National debate and it seems as many people are ignoring certain very basic facts. It is illegal to enter and/or remain in this country in violation of our immigration laws. Federal officers are empowered to arrest those in violation of the laws. It is illegal to obstruct or interfere with Federal officers performing those duties. Federal officers can use deadly force to protect themselves. People who travel to locations intending to interfere with Federal officers performing those duties certainly risk arrest or injury.
