I would suggest to the elderly to get a titers test for measles, with all these outbreaks going on you should check your antibodies, both my husband and I, in our early 60’s tested negative to having any antibodies, my mother in her 80’s also tested negative. I know many are against vaccines now, but measles could be dangerous for us elderly, I’m afraid we aren’t protected anymore with herd immunity.
