It's interesting that somebody still thinks the Catholic church has a hate on for the LGBTQ community. The last service I was dragged into had the priest running the "Welcome" spiel for about 10 minutes specifically mentioning the LGBTQ community. The cynical take on that is this was all leading up to the collection so they're just trying to leverage the market so they can pay for what they insisted were isolated incidents.
