The battleship was made obsolete in WW 2 by the aircraft carrier. Aircraft carriers are basically been made obsolete by missiles that can be launched from land or air. The trump class is built for aesthetics not combat, doesn’t even have the Aegis system. They will wind up costing 3 times the original. They should be renamed the sitting duck class
