I read in the Herald mayor Don from The Crest was commenting about the state of NJ permits, fees and the craziness of it. I’m pretty sure these crazy procedures are why starting on the 1st of the year all electric bills will include a fee to build a new nuclear plant in the state. Why should we fund a new plant. The state could put out a RFP and have private companies build their own plants with no upfront cost to our citizens. NJ should be telling these companies build a new plant in our state we will cut fees, PERMITS, and approval times. The politicians should welcome new power plants
