There is a lot the MT school board can do to reduce costs. Cut the many unnecessary 6 figure salary administrator positions. How many superintendent type positions do we need? There are way too many "assistant" or "director of" this everything. Way too many overpaid administrators! Some vice principal positions could be cut or reduced to 10 month positions. They could even be shared between schools, like between the middle school and high school and the 2 elementary schools. The people that do the least for education get paid the best!
