Let me tell you a story about raising minimum wage. Great right? Democrats thought so at the time but when a new person who just shows up gets $20 and hour, those that get $25 or $30 and have been there for years demand a raise and get it because $20 just set foot in the building doesn’t understand the business and won’t make them money for a bit and can’t handle the hardest parts of the job. They need $25 or $30 and can’t fire them because the owners business will collapse so they give in. And so on up the line. Of course this will go over Dems heads like a fighter jet. Facts confuse
