My daughter is out of state going to college, and can not take off to come home so she made an appointment at the local Chevy Dealer to get her Chevy trac serviced, oil change due, She called me and told me they charge her $96.00 I could not believe it. The dealers mechanic rate is $145.00 per hour. Highway robbery, no wonder people avoid the dealers. I have been a mechanic technician for 38 years. And can do a top grade oil change with the best OEM parts, Synthetic oil, AC Delco oil filter, 3 times for what they charged. And they did not rotate the tires.What a scam. No wonder people DIY. Wow
