Nuking the senate filibuster to stop the government shutdown is a very bad idea. Many of the problems we have seen caused during Biden’s term were the direct result of Harry Reid, a Democrat of course. The filibuster is a vital part of legislation and are the guard rails that prevent ping pong legislation that business and those that like to have long term stability need so they can develop a reasonable plan for the future.
