Read a great article in today's Press of Atlantic City regarding the state bureaucracy of NJ schools, also known as the high cost to the taxpayers of NJ. There are 21 counties, 590 school systems and each one have a superintendent, principal, payroll biz office etc, etc. The writer, a current school superintendent says it is time for county wide school systems to be more streamlined, efficient and cost effective to the taxpayer. Highly recommend reading it.
