Can’t make this stuff up! I went into the bank today with a $3.75 refund check from Medicare. This is a bank where we have sizable checking & savings accounts.I passed my driver’s license & the check to the teller. She said she could no longer accept it as ID. She asked for a debit card. Don’t have. We can text your cell phone. Don’t have. Tell me an amount of a check written in the last month. Luckily the landscaper bill is the same each month. 1 more check amount, nope, can’t remember. So she asked for the monthly social security amount. Check was finally cashed. Seriously?
