West Cape May reconsiders its fiscally irresponsible attempt to regulate or eliminate short term rentals, deciding that maybe that is not such a good idea. Having enjoyed a 3% tax revenue source, they thought it better to forego that significant revenue in the hope that would reduce property values to make WCM properties more affordable for others, never mind about how much you paid for your property. Not to mention the detrimental effects on local tourism based income on the business community. What a difference an election year makes!
